Old Sacramento State Historic Park General Plan/Environmental Impact Report

April 15, 2014 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The Old Sacramento State Historic Park General Plan team will be conducting a public information meeting to clarify general planning issues and potential use of the rail line right-of-way from Old Sacramento to the town of Hood. Another focus of this information meeting is to gather additional public input prior to the California State Park & Recreation Commission voting on the plan in May. A few of the items that will be discussed include:

  • Excursion Train lines #1 and #2 as well as potential uses within the Regional Transit District right-of-way line from South Land Park Drive to Pocket/Meadowview.
  • The California State Park & Recreation Commission will vote on the Old Sacramento SHP GP/EIR during a public video/teleconference meeting scheduled for May 2, 2014 in Sacramento and two other call-in locations.
