November 10, 2015: We celebrated the first of the new improvements coming to Roosevelt Park. With help from the Sacramento Kings and CADA, our community basketball courts in Roosevelt Park received a prodigious facelift! This is one of the most actively used parks in the Central City. Stay tuned for more great improvements coming over the next year.
November 9, 2015: We cut the ribbon on the first new park acreage in Land Park in many decades! The addition to Plaza Cervantes improves public safety and brings a very cool piece of public art to Freeport Blvd. We were thrilled to have local artist Tony Natsoulas with us to share his inspiration for the bronze sculpture which depicts Maslow's hierarchy and the balancing of family, relationships, time, and money that each of us does daily.
